Carlson Vineyards

Open: Year-round
About the Winery
At Carlson Vineyards, wine is not treated as the nectar of snobs. One step into the winery will show you that the Carlsons put their hearts, skill and wit into making superb wines that you'll enjoy.
The Carlson's winery is a favorite stop for both locals and visitors because the experience is as enjoyable as their wines. In 1988 they opened their tasting room in a vintage 1930s era fruit packing shed. Ever since, people have been seeking their wines.
Visitors to Carlsons feel so at home, they often linger to sip wine, relax and picnic in the tranquil backyard bordered with vineyards and flowerbeds.Â
Situated in a semi-arid landscape, this protected, high-altitude valley cut by the Colorado River produces remarkable wines. Sinfully flavorful wine grapes and fruits flourish under the care of neighboring growers. Carlson wines are known for capturing these pure Colorado-grown fruit aromas and flavors.
Parker Carlson and staff are on hand to pour tastes in the tasting room and to chat. Notice all the medals dangling from wine bottles lining the walls. Just ask, and they'll take you back into the winery to show you the winemaking process. Take a deep breath and savor the wonderful aromas of a working winery.
They'll give you advice, tips and recipes on what to have with Carlson wines, and most certainly, turn you into a believer that wine is a fun adventure too.

Vines at Vail Winery
4 Eagle Ranch 4098 Highway 131 Unit W, Wolcott, CO
Vail Valley Winemaker Collaborates with Heart and Soul
Located in the heart of Vail Valley, Vines at Vail Winery is a character-driven, modest mountain boutique winery specializing in handcrafted wines.
Owner and winemaker, Patrick Chirichillo, was raised in an Italian family of winemakers. Honoring his heritage, he became interested in the winemaking process as a child while helping his grandfather in traditional home production. During that time he learned more than how to cultivate distinct wine – he discovered a deep-seeded passion for a creative process that promotes storytelling and sharing life’s moments.
Patrick and his avid vintners produce wines that have garnered numerous annual awards. We look forward to expanding our reach as we embark on a new phase in our winemaking journey.
Continental Divide Winery
505 S Main Street, Breckenridge, CO
Fate and a combined passion for wine brought two families together to create Continental Divide Winery. In 2014, California vintners and part-time Breckenridge residents Jeffrey and Ana Maltzman, their two daughters and their two Australian Shepherds were walking down Main Street when they spotted Kent Hutchison and Angela Bryan, their two daughters and their two Australian Shepherds walking the other direction. The families quickly discovered a mutual passion for wine and in 2016 Continental Divide Winery was born.
Today, Jeffrey serves as company President, Ana toils as our Chief Tasting Officer, and daughters Lexie and Jess periodically work on the bottling line and in the tasting rooms when not away at college. Although Kent and Angela left the Front Range, their exceptional wines continue to be periodically featured at CDW.
Continental Divide produces over 15 award-winning wines each year from grapes grown in both Colorado and California.
Sutcliffe Vineyards
12174 Road G, Cortez, CO
Sutcliffe Vineyards identifies itself with one key mantra, "We grow wine, and we live wine." The estate and twenty-two organically farmed acres is overseen by three quality- obsessed farmers who meticulously farm, harvest, and vinify. This approach allows the vineyard to ensure quality from conception to bottling. The phrase "farm to table" has taken over the Colorado community, as well as much of the food culture in the United States. This is not a new concept to Sutcliffe Vineyards. It is the way Sutcliffe wines have, and will always be made. This attention to detail and commitment to quality wines is probably the reason Sutcliffe Vineyards is Wine Spectator's most highly regarded producer from the southwest to date.

Vin Rouge
4412 Yates Street, Denver, CO
“We are opening up an approachably bougie wine bar...everyone wants to feel fancy without feeling out of place. We wanted to have a cool, boutique wine bar, with wines and high-end beers.” — Jenn Feinstein in Business Denver
Owner Jenn Feinstein has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years, starting at one of The Ritz Carlton’s flagship properties.
Before moving to Denver with husband and partner Jarrett Feinstein, Jenn oversaw one of the first wineries in Santa Barbara County, Sunstone Vineyards & Winery. Over several years they were able to visit tasting rooms and vineyards together along the entire west coast, meeting with winemakers, vineyard owners, tasting room staff, and the people maintaining the vines, learning together the labor and love it takes to get the grapes from soil to bottle.
At Vin Rouge, you get to choose where your heart feels home… the living room, dining room, or the bar. We actually appealed to the city to reduce our occupancy level because we wanted the space to feel comfortable and not crowded.
The design is purposeful and the building was carefully chosen to reflect the warmth of a historical building with original hardwoods and exposed brick, with modern but classic furniture and fixtures. It’s meant to feel luxurious but still approachable… like our wine. Our wine is unique and not something you will find on the wine list at your favorite restaurant or in markets, but there is something for every taste available – we will help you find it. We hope through this method that our guests that may feel intimidated by the hundreds of labels on store shelves will now have the confidence to purchase on their own. Get to know your tastes and articulate your palate without anyone "winesplaining".
Read more about Jenn and Jarrett's journey to open Vin Rouge in Voyage Denver, or reserve your table and ask them when you come in and enjoy one of their lovely wines or crafted beers.
Infinite Monkey Theorem
3200 Larimer Street, Denver, CO
Open: Year-round
About Us
Yes we named our winery after an old mathematical theorem. When you think about it, it’s all about creating order out of a chaotic system and, we would argue. When we started in 2008, there was nothing more chaotic than growing grapes at 4,500 ft in Colorado and making wine in a warehouse in an alley in a city. There are an infinite number of variables at play, decisions to be made and possible outcomes. It is the job of our team to create order out of this inherently chaotic system as we craft our ridiculously good wine.
