Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company
402 7th Street, Glenwood Springs, CO
The idea started over beers while sitting on a curb in Durango at breakfast time. Now, Glenwood Canyon brewing Company brews 1045 barrels annually, employs over 100 people with payroll in excess of 1.5 million, and is one of the most award-winning brewpubs in Colorado.
In 1995, Steve and April Carver were visiting Durango and ended up in a waiting line for breakfast at the popular Carver (no relation) Bakery and Brewing Company. They bought a growler of beer, sat on the sidewalk, and decided that Glenwood Springs really needed a local brewery with this beer quality. Who better to partner with than Jim and Bill Carver, owners of the second craft brewery in Colorado? Over breakfast, the Carvers met the Carvers, some convincing took place, and the successful partnership began.
The brewpub was built in Glenwood Springs in the historic Hotel Denver, which, since 1914 has had its own history of bottlers, bars and brews. Bill and Steve traveled to Miami to purchase unassembled (an understatement) brew equipment from trailer storage, under inches of dust. Under the leadership of Bill and Ken Jones, Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company's brewer, the equipment was shipped, sorted and installed. On March 16, 1996, 74 days after the equipment arrived and less than six months after the idea was brewed on the curb in Durango, Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company opened its doors serving hand crafted beer, as well as a wide variety of pub fare.
More on Carver Brewing Company
In 1988 the first Durango, Colorado brewpub since prohibition was established by Jim and Bill Carver. This was the second craft brewery in Colorado, which, in 2013, holds the distinction as the state with the4th highest number of breweries per capita. Carvers were second to Wynkoop Brewing Company near Coors field in downtown Denver, which was established by John Hickenlooper, now the state's governor. Jim and Bill continue to operate the popular restaurant and brewpub on Main Street in Durango.

SKA Brewing
225 Girard, Bodo Park, Durango, CO
Somewhere out in Colorado, in the year nineteen hundred and ninety-five, two guys named Dave and Bill learned that while they loved gulping down good beer, they weren't yet old enough to buy it. They figured an answer to their quandary would appear if they drank enough and listened to enough thinking music, also known as Ska. On the second Skaturday of Skatember it hit them. If they brewed their own beer they'd have all the beer they could ever want. And while they were at it, why not brew the most magnificent suds ever quaffed in their neck of the woods...or any other neck for that matter.

El Rancho Colorado
29260 US Hwy 40, Evergreen, CO
El Rancho was built in 1948 by the Jahnke family as a trading post. They sold the building in November 1953 to Mildred and Ray Zipprich, Milwaukee Wisconsin pie distributors. Their daughter Donna and son-in-law Paul McEncroe joined them in February 1958 and operated it, with their children, until 1988. After the McEncroes sold El Rancho in 1988 it was owned and operated by various families. In May 2015 the Vincent families purchased El Rancho. Through their efforts El Rancho has been returned to its glory days' condition.
When the Zippriches opened El Rancho in 1954 it could serve 72 guests in the original dining room. From those early years the family business grew through dedication, passion and hard work to become a Colorado landmark. Today El Rancho can serve 332 guests on the main floor dining room and bar, 27 in the private dining room and up to 135 guests in our garden level banquet room. El Rancho is 7,686 feet above sea level. We have six fireplaces. We serve dinner 364 days a year. (We do take Christmas off so our staff can spend quality time with their families.)
We hope you won't just "eat and run". Weather permitting, relax on our western facing deck which boasts having "one of the most photographed views in Colorado"...some go further and make that "in America!" Our aim is to offer good food, good beer, good service and good value to all of our guests.
Thank you for visiting El Rancho where we are family friendly and where the history continues.
Oskar Blues Grill and Brew
303 Main Street Lyons, Lyons, CO
A few things that will always go together at Oskar Blues Fooderies: Craft Beer, Fresh Ingredients, Live Music and our Family & Friends.
These core values are what we've rooted our brand in ever since our founder, Dale Katechis, opened the doors to the very first Oskar Blues restaurant in Lyons, Colorado in 1997. Dale's Southern roots and previous experience in the restaurant industry led him to create a spot that locals and visitors alike could rely on for delicious food, cold beer and live entertainment; a place that would inspire his passion for brewing and spark the craft-beer-in-a-can craze that would eventually make Oskar Blues famous.
Even though Dale was a born-and-bred restaurant guy, he began focusing more of his efforts on the brewery realm when flagship Dale's Pale Ale took off. The man known for spinning many plates decided to hand the restaurant ownership over to his wife so he could keep the brewery truckin' forward. In 2008, about a year after the Longmont brewery expansion, Anita Gray partnered on the restaurant side and Homemade Liquids and Solids (aka HMLS) was born. Experiencing first-hand the potential in this hometown soul-filled juke joint made it easy for her to push in her chips & buckle up for a wild ride!
During the opening phase of HMLS in 2009, the restaurant partners knew they needed a back-of-the-house specialist to fill in the blanks. Enter Chef Jason Rogers. After years of working his way through kitchens nationwide and learning from some of the best Chefs in the biz, life led Jason to the funky town of Lyons where he met Dale
and the OB family, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Combining their entrepreneurial spirits, Jason and Anita purchased a food truck in 2011, named it the "BONE WAGON" and the "CHUBurger" was born. When supply simply couldn't keep up with demand, the need to build a restaurant around the popular concept was more than apparent. So in 2013, Jason became the third restaurant partner and the doors were opened to the first CHUBurger Craft Casual foodery. Not a year later, on opening day 2014, a second CHUBurger launched on the rooftop of Coors Field, allowing our local gem to get big-city attention.
True to form, Oskar Blues Fooderies couldn't leave well-enough alone. Also in 2014, we opened CYCLCHOPS Bike CANtina, our first south-of-the-border concept in Longmont - the extraordinary town that continues to open its arms to all-things OB. CYCLHOPS combines the love of tasty, fresh taqueria-style eats, with our other beloveds: beer and bikes (oh yeah, and tequila too!). Our CANtina quickly becomes a favorite to anyone that walks through the door and continues to push the limits of traditional and trend-setting.
In 2015, we've been focusing on our distinct brands and offering consistency throughout our stores and products. With the official launch of Oskar Blues Fooderies, we hope to solidify our individual brand identities and strengthen the company as a whole. We know the future holds thoughtful expansion of our core brands as well as new concepts yet to be hatched.
So, what's next?! There's only one way to find out ... stay tuned for updates!

They have hiked and camped their whole lives, and conceived this idea of nature inspired beer while sitting around a campfire in Crested Butte, Colorado. They have lived in Boulder for 8 years now and perfected these recipes on an all-grain professional brewing system in their basement for 5 years before opening Wild Woods in September 2012.

Avery Brewing Company
4910 Nautilus Ct, Boulder, CO
About Us:
Incorporated in September 1993, Avery Brewing Company is the culmination of several years of homebrewing experimentation by Adam Avery, President & /Brewmaster, to perfect the recipes for Redpoint Amber Ale, Ellie's Brown Ale, and Out of Bounds Stout. Production and sale of these three flagship beers began utilizing a 7 barrel brewhouse and 7 barrel Gundy tanks as fermenters and bright tanks. Out of Bounds Stout won a gold medal in 1994 in the category of dry stouts at the largest beer tasting event in North America, the Great American Beer Festival, held annually in Denver.
In 1995, as production increased, the 7 bbl Grundy tanks were replaced with four 30 bbl tanks and the DE filter size was increased. A Meheen bottling machine was added along with a labeling machine for our 22 oz. bottles. Six-packs became available in 1996 with the purchase of a Meheen 12 oz. bottling machine. Also, the first batch of Avery IPA (India Pale Ale) was brewed. Sales of Avery IPA have grown to the point that it has replaced Ellie's Brown as our best selling beer. Hop Freaks Unite!
Golden City Brewery
920 12th Street, Building 2, Golden, CO
About Us:
Golden City Brewery was founded in 1993 by two geologists, Charlie & Janine Sturdavant. They filled the old machine shop behind their historic Golden home with used dairy tanks and Charlie began brewing German-style ales. The tasting room was originally located in the sunroom of their house and provided Red Ale and Pale Ale to the local community in 1/2 gallon growlers and kegs. Since that time, the operation has expanded at the same location (still their home). The carriage house has become the the tasting room, the backyard is the beer garden. The brewery is still in the machine shop, but a second level was added inside. All of the old equipment has been replaced with real beer fermenters and a slightly used gas-fired kettle. The brewery produces those now legendary Red & Pale Ales, in addition to a few other brews.
CODA Brewing Company
15965 S Golden Rd. Ste C2, Golden, CO
Odell Brewing Company
800 E Lincoln Avenue, Fort Collins, CO
History:
Doug, Wynne and Corkie Odell started their brewing odyssey in 1989 in a converted 1915 grain elevator located on the outskirts of downtown Fort Collins. Odell's was just the second microbrewery to open in Colorado. No one knew what "craft beer" was in those early days of the industry and we had to educate our first customers on what exactly it was we were trying to sell them. Not home brew, or worse, bathtub brew, but small batch, hand-crafted, commercially brewed distinctive beers. Our success was immediate.Doug brought his passion for crafting great beer to our new brewery. Starting in his kitchen in Seattle, Doug had spent ten years refining recipes and playing with brewing processes until he settled on two perfect recipes, although not yet the names - 90 Shilling and Easy Street Wheat. After brewing and kegging his beer, Doug would deliver it, pick up empties, and make sales calls out of his old mustard-colored Datsun pickup. Corkie cleaned out the tanks and Wynne paid the bills.
OskarBlues Brewery
1640 S Sunset St, Longmont, CO
In 2002, our funky little Colorado grown brew-pub started stuffing our huge, voluminously hopped mutha of a pale ale in a can (Dale's Pale Ale). That not only began the craft-beer-in-a-can craze, but has grown to add a brewery to the hills of Pisgah National Forest in Brevard, NC and another in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX, in 2016. Cans keep beer fresher, longer by eliminating the damaging effects of light and ingressed oxygen while being infinitely recyclable and portable...taking them where your next soul saving adventure takes you.

Left Hand Brewing Company
1265 Boston Avenue, Longmont, CO
Our History:
Our story started in December of 1990 with a small homebrewers kit. Dick Doore, the co-founder of Left Hand, received the kit as a Christmas present from his brother. According to Dick, "it was all downhill from there." His obsession with homebrewing led him back to Colorado in August of 1993, where he met up with a former college buddy and soon-to-be Left Hand co-founder, Eric Wallace.
Vintage LHB BottlesIt didn't take the two long to start brewing beer. Dick had been homebrewing for years, and Eric had traveled extensively internationally, seeking out great beers wherever and whenever he could. After brewing several batches that impressed their friends and lucky neighbors, they became more confident in their craft. It was only after drinking quite a lot of really good dry stout that Eric had brewed that they had their epiphany: "Let's start a brewery."
