Peachfork Orchards and Vineyards
281 33 Road, Palisade, CO
We specialize in raising high-quality fresh fruit in harmony with the forces of nature. The sunny days and cool nights of the rocky mountains provide optimal growing conditions. Yes you can grow mouth watering peaches in Colorado!
Mouthwatering peach varieties include Red Globe, Cresthaven, August Lady, and Ol Henry. Harvest typically begins August 6th . We wait until the peaches are tree ripe so that you can taste the full flavor as if you were here with us in the orchard. The peaches are picked into buckets and hand sorted right in the field.
The Brennan family has been raising apples on East Orchard Mesa since 1972. We grow Jonathan, Fuji (early red and standard) and Pink Lady apple varieties.
In 1993 we planted our first 2,500 grape plants and have been growing ever since. We estimate that we are up to 20,000 vines. We continue to be one of the primary growers for Carlson Vineyards. The wine grape varieties we grow include Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Lemberger, Merlot, Orange Muscat, Riesling, Seyval, and Syrah/Shiraz.

Conner Orchards
30846 L25 Rd, Hotchkiss, CO
About Us
Conner Orchards and Inn the Orchard are run by Ed and Laurie Conner.
Ed purchased the orchard in 1999 from his Uncle, who had bought it from another aunt. Originally, it was all about the house, which he and his dad renovated. Selling fruit on his sales trips across the eastern slope, he turned the orchard into his full-time job and headed to farmers markets as well.
It was at one of these farmers markets where he tossed Laurie an apple. Neither knew that in ancient Greece this was meant as a proposal by the man and an acceptance by the woman if she caught it. Laurie caught the apple and now Ed manages the orchard while Laurie takes care of the lavender.
Laurie, the ever wanderer, has turned her love of canning into a variety of jams and other culinary lavender products.

YA YA Farm & Orchard
6914 Ute Highway, Longmont, CO
In 1896, Percy Goss moved to the farm. He "bachelored it" for four years before he married Jennie, and they began farming on what is now the YA YA Farm & Orchard. In 1934, they gave their son, Jim, the graduation gift of an apple orchard. This orchard always produced amazing apples. When the Goss family relocated in 1979, the orchard was left and fell into neglect.
Not only did the Goss family leave their mark with their apple orchard, but also with the Percheron Draft Horses they farmed with. The Gosses raised hay, corn, sugar beets, barley, and maintained a dairy. Jennie's Road Side Stand, a Farm Stand, supported the family farm for many years; she sold fresh produce, eggs, cider, soda pop, fresh butter, milk, and anything else she could find or make to sell.
In November 2003, YA YA Farm & Orchard was born. The graduation gift of time past was again to be a gift from Percy and Jennie to all those who spend time here.
Percheron Draft Horses again grace the farm. They are responsible for eating the apples that are picked up off the orchard floor, doing farm work and producing gleeful smiles.
Spring 2004 was the beginning of the 4-year project of pruning and rejuvenating the orchard. The original orchard, the South Orchard, is made up of Old World (heirloom) apples, particularly the McIntosh.
Blessed with an abundant Fall 2005 apple crop, YA YA Farm & Orchard was a vendor at the Longmont Farmer's Market. With delight, many customers shared their fond memories of apple picking. Feeling blessed by their gift from the Goss family, we were compelled to share with all who desired to pick apples.
In 2006, the North Orchard (formerly a cherry orchard) was planted with newer apple tree varieties. It was also in 2006 that YA YA Farm & Orchard opened as a U-Pick-It orchard. Spring 2009, major orchard expansion began as the hay field began its transition to apple orchard. This expansion has been completed at last - Spring 2011! The orchard now holds 860 trees with over 125 different varieties, many are heirloom.
