About Us:
Denver Downs Farm is a South Carolina Century Farm owned and operated by the Garrison family of Anderson County SC since 1869. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Denver Downs was established as a cotton farm, transitioned to a dairy farm, and today is a working farm devoted to agri-tourism.

At Denver Downs Farm, the partnership between agriculture and tourism fuels our passion to share our history and teach our non-farming neighbors about the rich heritage of farming and the importance agriculture plays in our everyday lives.
We continue to build the legacy of Denver Downs Farm by offering the freshest locally grown produce at our Farm Market, and by presenting special events like the Annual Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch that allow visitors to experience first hand the happenings and activities of farm living.

Clinton Sease Farm and Corn Maze
382 Olde Farm Road, Lexington, SC
History:
Armand and Roselyn Sease bought 20 acres in 1942. They built their home, while working on Armand's father's farm. Five years later they moved into their new home and started Armand C. Sease Farm. Sweet potatoes and peaches were the main crops. The farm was fairly well self-sustaining. Meat came from the livestock they raised and Roselyn had a garden and canned vegetables for the winter. The extra cream and eggs were sold to customers they had in Columbia. Collard greens, mustard and turnip greens were then added and quickly became the main source of income. In the early 60's, a buyer at the Winn Dixie warehouse, encouraged Armand to grow green onions. With much experimentation, this grew from a spring crop to a year round crop for the farm.
In 1970 Clinton and Shirley were married and became very active in the farm. In 1978 Clinton and Shirley took over ownership of the farm. Greens and green onions continued to be the main focus on the farm.
In 2004 Carrie, our youngest daughter encouraged us to diversify by adding a corn maze. Each year we have added new attractions that bring visitors to the farm. Since most everyone today does not have a grandpa to visit on the farm, we are growing that experience for them.
