The Best Cooking Classes in Minnesota!

Cooks of Crocus Hill, Multiple locations
For more than four decades, Cooks of Crocus Hill has been teaching Minnesota residents kitchen techniques. Their classes are often taught by top local chefs and frequently combine cooking with fun—like Scotch and steaks. They’ve expanded beyond their original Grand Ave. location and now offer products and classes in Stillwater, the North Loop in Minneapolis, and a few Kowalski’s Market locations.

Coastal Seafoods, Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN
Ever wondered how to shuck an oyster, make a sushi roll, or perfectly grill a tuna steak? The instructors at Coastal Seafoods are more than happy to help you learn to do all these things and more. All of their classes, as you likely guessed, are seafood-centric. So, if this is one particular area you want to bone up on, Coastal is the place to be.
Bluff Country Co-op, Winona, MN
The Bluff Country Co-op in Winona offers regular classes and demonstrations of cooking techniques to residents in Southeastern Minnesota. In addition to classes based on particular foods and cuisines, the co-op also schedules a monthly class for kids who want to learn to cook.
The Good Acre, Falcon Heights, MN
The Good Acre is a self-decribed “food hub” that brings farmers and their fresh-from-the-farm or field produce together with consumers who are looking for better products. As part of their mission, they offer classes that use the produce their suppliers deliver. Examples of classes include Global Comfort Foods and a Land and Sea Harvest Dinner.

Way Cool Cooking School, Eden Prairie, MN
The Way Cool Cooking School boasts a wide range of classes for adults, kids, families, and even corporate team-building. Examples of their offerings range from making to after-school snacks for kids to the adults-only Sushi Date Night class. They even host birthday parties and offer camps and other programs.
