Bringing together aspects of powerlifting, gymnastics, and much more, CrossFit will truly test your mettle. And the great CrossFit gyms of Arizona are serious about getting you in shape. Here are our favorites in the state!

Wildcat CrossFit, Tucson, AZ

In Tucson, Wildcat CrossFit wants to help you get things done. Their CrossFit classes focus on making everyday life tasks easier for all participants—and everyone is welcome. Enrollment is limited to 250 members to ensure that personal attention remains a top priority.

East Valley CrossFit, Chandler, AZ

At East Valley CrossFit, athletes may enroll in CrossFit, Competitor Training, Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Kettlebell, Strongman classes, and more. If we've piqued your interest, check out their website for more information—including the credentials and certifications of each coach. With such an emphasis on coaching (in addition to athleticism—of course), it's no wonder why East Valley CrossFit has sent teams to Regions five times.

Next Level Performance Consulting, Scottsdale, AZ

Next Level Perfomance Consulting (formerly CrossFit PHX), you should expect the best, while striving to be your best. Next Level Perfomance Consulting encourages camaraderie, friendship, community, and, most importantly, support. They offer a free one-week trial to both new and experienced CrossFit athletes. Here, you'll find regular CrossFit classes, Ladies Only, Yoga, Olympic Weightlifting, and even 1on1 Skill Sessions with a trainer. And don't let us forget to mention it: Next Level Perfomance Consulting was voted the #1 CrossFit Box in the US for 2017 by Men's Fitness magazine.

CrossFit Full Strength, Phoenix, AZ

You won't find any headphones or boring, redundant workouts at CrossFit Full Strength. What you will find, however, are classes seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. with multiple options in between. Full Strength has a kids' room, too, so you don't need to worry about leaving the little ones behind. They're welcome, too!

CrossFit Celsius, Surprise, AZ

If you're new to the CrossFit game, stop by CrossFit Celsius. They've been transforming "lives and bodies" since 2011, per their website. In addition to several different types of classes (including one for kids), members can participate in a Celsius Night Out to shake things up or a fundraiser.

CrossFit Purgatory, Tucson, AZ

CrossFit Purgatory doesn't want you to wait to try their classes out. There's no worrying about whether you're "fit enough" to join, here, because everyone is welcome. The Purgatory crew will even help new members with planning workouts, holding them accountable, nutrition plans, and more. After a free one-hour consult and intro class, new members have four one-on-one sessions with a personal trainer, so they're not thrown into the fire on day one.
