Boothill Giftshop and Graveyard
About Us
It was not long after that first strike of silver near the ridge known as Goose Flats that men by the dozens found their way here in search of their new beginnings and yet often times finding their endings. Tombstone became, in the true sense of the word, a “boomtown” and the population grew tremendously in a very short time. Life would be good for a few here and death would be certain for a lot more. And with that loss of life came the need for a place designated as a final resting, a cemetery.
Boothill Graveyard in historic Tombstone, Arizona is quite likely the most famous Wild West cemetery in the world. Buried at Boothill Graveyard are Lawmen, Outlaws, Ranchers, Gamblers, Husbands, Wives, Children, and many others. This burial ground was used from 1879 to 1884 when the new cemetery was built on west Allen Street.
We hope you will stop by Boothill Graveyard and Gift Shop when in the Tombstone, Arizona area.
