The Tsunami is a seven-pound dish featuring an omelet, hash browns, pancakes, and toast. For $25 this dish’s omelet is stuffed with ham, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, four types of cheese, tomato, onions, green peppers, and spinach. Not so easy now, huh? Copious amounts of Wisconsin custard? We’re in! Join the fun at Zesty’s Allouez location to try the Custard Challenge. The challenge includes a large bowl of custard, ice cream cones, cookies, whip cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and of course a cherry on top. You must single-handedly finish the bowl in one hour to received a t-shirt, a Zest gift card, a picture on their Wall of Fame, and bragging rights to be the FIRST to complete the challenge.
The Original Sobelman's Pub & Grill, Milwaukee, WI
While this might not all be food, The Original Sobelman’s Pub and Grill is home to a number of famously large Bloody Marys. Most famously known the Bloody Beast includes all the garnishes, sliders, bacon wrapped cheese balls, and a whole fried chicken. Cough up $50 for the Bloody Beast. You can find five Sobelman’s locations in the Milwaukee and surrounding areas.
Jake’s Deli, Milwaukee, WI
If you’re wondering why a 1955 traditional Milwaukee deli makes our list we’ve got three words for you—The Commish Challenge. Travel Channel’s “Man v. Food” has even highlighted Jake’s Deli. At a cost of $75 the Commish Challenge begins with loaf of rye bread, topped with a mountain of meat and stuffed with Swiss cheese, jalapenos, sauerkraut, and sauce. Finish in 45 minutes and the cost is waived. Get a pair of Milwaukee Brewers tickets and a spot of their Wall of Fame if you can complete the challenge. Only three brave souls have successfully finished the over four-pound sandwich.
