Isham Family Farm, Williston, VT

Established in 1871, the Isham Family Farm has several hundred cut-your-own Christmas trees. Cut-your-own trees are up to seven feet tall, and pre-cut trees are from six feet to over 12 feet tall. There are also freshly-cut wreaths for sale and a heated sugar house where you can enjoy free cocoa.

Paine’s Christmas Trees, Morrisville, VT

Established in 1958, Paine's Christmas Trees has been operating for more than 60 years. A 65-acre family-run operation specializing in Fraser fir trees, Paine's also sells garland, wreaths, and kissing balls and features an on-site gift shop with unique ornaments and other tree decorations.

Gilbert Tree Farm, Williamstown, VT

At Gilbert’s, it is quality, not quantity. They are a small family-owned and operated cut-your-own tree farm that offers several varieties of balsam and Fraser fir trees and freshly-made wreaths. They pay particular attention to the tree's shape as it grows so that you have a great selection when you choose the tree you want to bring home.

Walker Farm’s Elysian Hills, Dummerston, VT

Choose and tag Christmas trees in October and pick up your tree after Thanksgiving, or get retail cut trees after Thanksgiving and enjoy a complimentary free hot cider or hot chocolate, as well as marshmallows and snacks. Moffatt’s Tree Farm, Craftsbury, VT

Another NEK farm on their list, the Moffatt's have been growing Christmas Trees since the 1930s, and, for three generations, they have been cultivating their more than 700 acres of land. With over 8,000 trees the sustainably managed farm is a wholesaler and a cut-your-own facility, so, as you might imagine, they specialize in trees eight feet and taller.  

Pleasant Valley Tree Farm, Bennington, VT

This 80-acre farm has been family-owned for over 100 years. Currently, you will find 30,000 trees in constant rotation, ranging from four-year-old transplants to 16 year-old trees. Get both retail "pre-cut" trees or spend hours in their fields for cut-your-own trees. You will also find Vermont-made holiday items and maple syrup in the Holiday Gift Barn, as well as wreaths, garland and kissing balls. 

Purinton Family Tree Farm, Huntington, VT

At this dog-friendly farm, choose from over 14,000 cut-your-own balsam fir trees from five to 10 feet tall. Established in 1990, Purinton cultivates 14 acres of trees with as much love as a family can muster. Getting a Purinton Tree means you will get a heart, healthy tree that will last you well through the holiday season. In addition to trees, get wreaths, kissing balls, maple products, and more.
