This little eatery is quite charming, chock full of goodies to grab along the way as you make your way toward the back of the shop, where the deli is located and where you can order your carefully-crafted and creative sandwich selections. We tried the Tampico—yum!

This hotspot usually requires reservations if you wish to secure a seat for dinner. Guests enjoy some of the freshest sushi in town, plus a creative spin of Japanese traditional dishes.

Walk up to the counter, let ‘em know what you’d like to eat (and drink if you didn’t already grab a bottle in their huge ice boxes), take your ticket and find your own seat in their massive indoor-outdoor arrangements, separated by cool glass garage doors. There’s even a real sandbox for the kiddos on their patio! Fried pickles & jalapenos with ranch, is our favorite appetizer!

Cindi’s New York Deli, Dallas, TX

A gem of the Dallas area, you can have breakfast all day and night and at a bargain of a price at Cindi’s. They’ve even got an area for you to grab baked goods for dessert or takeout. Corned beef hash? Blueberry bagels? The famous Dr. Brown’s cream soda in a can? We’re already there, my friends!

Blue Bonnet Café, Marble Falls, TX

Small-town eating is essential in Texas. You’ll usually find very similar themed restaurants in the area but this spot is truly endearing?
