Freetail Brewing Company
4035 N Loop 1604 WÂ Suite 105, San Antonio, TX
Way back yonder on the eve of 2006 a dude named Scott was on a ski trip with friends when he had an epiphany. Maybe it was the lack of oxygen at altitude, or maybe it was all the tasty local beer he had consumed, but he had determined to open a brewery restaurant in his hometown of San Antonio. A little under three years later, Freetail Brewing Co. took flight with a full serving of punk, a dash of ska, a pinch of funk and the random sprinkling of everything else.
Together with Chef Gary Butler and Head Brewer Jason Davis, we are committed to our Mission of "Bringing the Pursuit of Better Stuff" to fruition for our customers, employees and community in everything we do. Since the humble beginnings of our brewpub, we've built a brand spankin' new production brewery and are distributing our beers throughout South Texas.

These are nouns we're told to respect, to honor, to remember, to stay true to. And yet, every moment in the past was once modern, and every passed-modern moment had a hint of the future an eye focused beyond the glass in front of it.
Our story is not unlike many a beer journeyman before us we're intoxicated with the mystery of fermentation, the possibilities of taste, and chasing after unexplored horizons. Our goal is simply to make beer.
Rentsch Brewery
2500 Northeast Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX
Rentsch Beer was founded by father and son David and Andrew Rentschler. The inspiration for opening a brewery began in Europe where Andrew was studying German. He also 'studied' biergartens, where he noticed that the focus was enjoying the quality of local craft beers. In addition, they provided a place for friends and family to gather and leisurely hang out and enjoy each others' company. Â Andrew's family met him in Europe during a break in his studies, and he shared his concept with them. It was at a biergarten that the dream for Rentsch Brewery began.
Upon graduation from college, Andrew returned home to Georgetown, Tx and took over his parent's garage where he built and developed a commercial-grade pilot brewing system and perfected recipes with brewing partner, Stefano Allianelli.
Within a year the brewery was moved to its current location in a warehouse in Georgetown. While waiting for state and federal licensing Andrew and Stefano hand-built the coldroom, the taproom, and cashier stand. They also built bar tops and picnic tables with the help of family and friends. During this time they were able to expand their brewing system to a seven barrel system.
Rentsch Brewery opened its doors on August 29, 2015 with tremendous support from the community. The brewery prides itself on being the first craft brewery in Georgetown, and an active part of the Georgetown community.
It is a family run operation; our small staff does everything from brewing to distributing to sales and marketing, all the way up to writing this very webpage you are reading right now. Incorporating Old World German and New World American styles we have created a perfect beer lineup for your enjoyment.
Kreische Brewery State Historic Site
414 State Loop 92, La Grange, TX
In 1849, German immigrant Heinrich Ludwig Kreische purchased 172 acres of land including the Dawson/Mier tomb, now known as Monument Hill. Master stonemason Kreische built a three-story house for his family. In the 1860s, he utilized the spring water from the ravine below his house and started one of the first commercial breweries in Texas. Walk the ruins of this once bustling brewery and envision how Fayette County citizens would come and enjoy a pint of Kreische’s Bluff Beer while looking out towards the beautiful Texas landscape. The Kreische Brewery and home are listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

About Us
Bare Arms Brewing is Waco's 1st craft brewery and has been voted #1 by Locals Love Us year over year. We are passionate about craft beer and are always striving for that perfect pint. We honor those that roll up their sleeves, bare arms, work hard, and perfect their craft, thus our name. We offer many flagships that can be found in restaurants, and we feature seasonals, specials, and one-of-a-kinds that can only be found in our taproom. So visit us often to see what's new.
Our History
With over 40 years of combined brewing experience, our brewers are passionate about beer – making it, drinking it, and living the culture. From the day we started home-brewing, people were interested. This was not just because the beer was good, but the culture of brewing beer itself and sharing it with others seemed to bring people together.
The interest and excitement from peers was always undeniable. Constantly we'd be asked, "what are you brewing next, what's in the fermenter, or what's new?" We definitely enjoyed home-brewing and got countless compliments. However, the compliments would often end with "you should sell this!"
After planning and research, we decided to roll up our sleeves, bare our arms, and go to work. On June 5, 2015, Bare Arms opened its doors. After nearly 5 years, Bare Arms merged with Two Rivers Beer Company to expand our footprint and continue to grow the craft beer scene in Waco, TX.

Our goal is to brew world class beers and deliver them to our customers as fresh as possible making them the best beers in Texas, Louisiana and Florida. Our customers are beer lovers - people that appreciate great, full-flavored beers.
Our small crew does everything at the brewery: brew the beer, filter the beer, keg the beer, bottle the beer, sell the beer and drink the beer. For us, this is a passion, not a job. We believe that this comes through in the beers we make. Our beers have soul.
We brew several different beers; some are year round, some are seasonal and a few are single batch brews. They are available in bars, restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores and warehouse stores throughout Texas, Louisiana and Florida.

Building a better world is a team effort. The Houston brewery has reduced its water usage by more than 45% and electricity usage by almost 30% over the past 10 years.
Hop and Sting Brewing Company
906 Jean St, Grapevine, TX
We seek to be an inclusive community of beer drinkers. Our beer is for you, for your neighbors and for your friends. Though we are a brewery, we believe that beer is never the central figure of any moment. People are the moment makers. And great beer should be part of those moments. Our beers are crafted for good times.
North Texas is becoming well known for producing great local brews and we're excited to be a part of perpetuating that great tradition for years to come. Our beers aren't intended to slap you in the face with outlandish concoctions. But we hope that they become well crafted local classics that you'll come back to time and time again.
