Columbus Annual June BBQ CookOff
The June Cook-Off was born in 2004. It started out as the Colorado County Junior Livestock Cook-Off. This was meant to fund the Junior Livestock part of the Colorado County Fair.
The first 3 years didn't produce much funding, but a great group got together and changed all that. Fausta and a couple others began organizing the Cook-Off details and making sure the FFA was benefiting from this great event. This core team of promoters kept the FFA Alumni June Cook-Off going strong! We like to think it gets better with age!
Today the promoters are Natalie James, Kim Kaiser, Dawson Kaiser, Fausta Kaiser and Samantha Thrasher.
We plan on keeping the tradition successful, helping our community, building relationships with our cook teams and Having A Great Time Doing So! Join us in helping others and making a difference!
