Brush Country Museum
The Brush Country Museum is sponsored by the La Salle County Historical Commission.
The original Museum is a one-room schoolhouse donated to the Historical Commission by the Cotulla Independent School District. The Museum has grown over the years from the original one-room school building. In April, 1997, Gladys "Beanie" McMahon Porter donated her house and lots to the Historical Commission for the purposes of a Museum. The original Museum was moved from Front Street to it's new location at 201 S. Stewart Street. The Museum has been completely renovated and contains many pictures, displays and artifacts of La Salle County and the Brush Country.
Brush Country Museum is not affiliated with AmericanTowns Media
