About Us
Artisan Center Theater came into being because of one person's dream to make family friendly theater-in- the-round accessible to both actors and patrons alike in the DFW area. As that person told others about that dream, they too joined in to help make that dream a reality. When it came to naming the theater, many names were considered, then tabled. Artisan had staying power - it embodied everything in that original dream. A search of definitions was made and it was confirmed ... the perfect name for the theater.
Artisan Center Theater is dedicated to providing you, our patrons, with the finest theatrical experience possible in an atmosphere as intimate and friendly as your own homes. In doing so, we strive to select shows which reflect our promise to provide fun and affordable family entertainment.We provide opportunities in performance, behind-the-scenes work, volunteerism, as well as ongoing education in the performing arts.
