ABOUT US
Welcome to Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co., where casual dining, fresh food, and award-winning, handcrafted beer make Boscos your neighborhood restaurant.
Boscos, Tennessee’s First Brewpub
Prohibition may have ended in 1933, but Tennessee state laws prevented restaurants from brewing and selling beer until 1992, when the law was finally changed. This change led to the opening of Tennessee’s first brewpub, Boscos, The Restaurant for Beer Lovers, right here in Memphis, TN.
Since opening December 26, 1992, Boscos has won numerous local food accolades, dozens of national beer awards, and is considered a craft-brewing innovator and pioneer. We are proud to brew almost 60 styles of beer each year, including Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal Winner, Boscos Famous Flaming Stone.
Located in what was once Bombay Bicycle Club, Boscos Squared has lead the way in Overton Square’s resurgence as an arts and entertainment district.
Come in and see why Boscos is Memphis' best and only restaurant & brewery!
Grind City Brewing
76 Waterworks Avenue, Memphis, TN
High Cotton Brewing Company
598 Monroe Avenue, Memphis, TN
When we founded High Cotton Brewing Company, we didn't want to just create beer whose name paid homage to our Southern Heritage, but brew it in a way that did as well.
We knew that bumper crops didn't just happen. That they were equal parts inspiration, perspiration and a little bit of luck. It's a process that's worked well for generations, and one that we bring to everything we do.
Whether it be the meticulous selection of ingredients, the painstaking process of trial and error, or ruthlessly critiquing the fruits of our labor, the result is a collection of beers that we're proud to brew, proud to drink and most of all, proud to share.
Ghost River Brewing
827 South Main Street, Memphis, TN
Ghost River Brewing Co. is proud to be Memphis’s first craft brewery. Independently owned and operated, Ghost River has made good beer for the good people of Memphis since 2007.
Just outside of Memphis, the Wolf River expands into a broad, still opening. While calm on the surface, a deep channel cuts through the riverbed below, creating a hidden current. This unassuming yet powerful body of water is the Ghost River. It provides water for our aquifer, recreation for our families, and the name for our brewery. The beauty and complexity of the Ghost River continue to inspire us to create fun, exciting and delicious brews for you to enjoy.
Here at Ghost River Brewing Co. we strongly believe that craft beer is about community, and we sure do love ours! We strive to make beer that everyone (of legal drinking age, of course!) can enjoy and to foster a fun, welcoming atmosphere at both of our taprooms where you can come and enjoy our ales with friends, family, pups, Memphians and non-Memphians alike. So stop on by, let us pour you a beer and let the good times roll! Cheers!

Tennessee Brew Works
809 Ewing Avenue, Nashville, TN
Tennessee Brew Works was born of the thirst for high quality, well-crafted, flavorful beer.
We are proud to call the great state of Tennessee home to the Tennessee Brew Works brewery and taproom, where we create our "finely tuned craft beer." With fine traditions in many things including both music and spirits, we hope to capture the essence of the land and culture in all of our brews. We keep strive to create our brews as efficiently as possible, minimizing waste and raw material utilization in our brew processes; doing our part for conservation. We believe that brewing is a collaboration between art, science and culture!
Founded with the discovery that great beer can be brewed at home, what began as a kitchen hobby amongst friends ultimately transformed into something much greater. During that evolution we gained a following for our beer with family, friends, and acquaintances; converting many into craft beer consumers. Their enthusiasm (and support) inspired us to follow our passions and share our creations with a much larger audience, while still focusing on producing unique, distinctive, high quality beers.
We believe in a culture that places importance on family, friends, and community. Tennessee Brew Works is an advocate for the local movement, and we aspire to support the local community and organizations, especially our farmers. Creating beer using one of the greenest methods in the region, together we are providing people with higher quality and more sustainable goods and services.

Chattanooga Brewing Company
1804 Chestnut Street, Chattanooga, TN
In 1890, George Reif moved to Chattanooga with his wife Louise Mueller and their son Charles. The Reif's became part owners of Conrad Geise & Company, which was later renamed Chattanooga Brewing Company. George was president until his death in 1899. His wife then assumed the presidency of the company. She was well known and respected as being shrewd, efficient and one of the ablest woman in Chattanooga. She was said to have done more charity in Chattanooga than any other one person of the time until her death in 1907. Their son, Charles also worked with his father in the brewing business. The two were the largest stockholders in the Jung Brewing Company until it was sold in 1889. Charles became president of the Chattanooga Brewing Co. in 1907, after the death of his mother. The brewery operated until 1915 when prohibition forced its closure.
Terminal BrewHouse
No. 6 14th Street, Chattanooga, TN
HISTORY OF THE STONG BUILDING
The Terminal Station (Choo Choo) opened in December of 1909 and created an immediate need for a nearby hotel to give comfort to the weary travelers. The very next year The Stong building (no that is not a typo) was built next door and The Terminal Hotel came to life soon after.
A pictorial book, Pen and Sunlight Sketches of Chattanooga, reported that in its location and equipment, it is eminently representative of progress in the hotel facilities of this thriving city." The hotel featured steam-heated rooms (fancy), with meals served all hours in a café.
Legend holds that through the years the Stong building was home to speakeasies during prohibition, illegal casinos and even a house of ill repute. There may even have been some activities that took place in the fine building that one would not approve of although none come to mind.
Sometime in the early 1940's Chester Davis, a porter at the Terminal Station, saved his tips and purchased the Stong building becoming one of the first black business owners in Chattanooga. The building stayed in his family, housing many different businesses, until purchased in 2006 by local raconteur Joe Sliger who immediately began restoring the property. Not long after he found a motley (but dashing) crew interested in this Historic building. This band of visionaries had, coincidentally, a vision for the wonderful old building. The walls and rafters seemed to cry out to these rugged, brilliant men. "Beer" said the walls "amazing food" said the rafters and so, despite being terrified of the talking building, an idea was born. After MUCH struggling and MANY delays The Terminal BrewHouse came alive and there was much rejoicing verily and thusly.

Johnson City Brewing Company
300 East Main Street, Suite 104, Johnson City, TN
Johnson City Brewing Company (JCBC) was founded in March 2014 by a group of home brewers and craft beer enthusiasts. We celebrated our grand opening on Saturday, October 25th, 2014.
The core of this group first got together in 2009, when Eric and Kat Latham formed the Peyton Street Beer Club. Eric and Kat would invite friends, family, and even strangers over to taste home brew and craft beer from around the world. Great conversations ensued (as they usually do after a couple of brews), and there was always a story behind every beer.
When the Lathams moved to Johnson City, Tennessee in 2011, they began looking for a good place to set up a brewery. Finally, in 2014, the stars aligned and Johnson City Brewing Company was born.
Johnson City Brewing Company is located in historic downtown Johnson City, Tennessee, which is surrounded by the beautiful foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Come by for a visit!
