Pembina Gorge State Recreation Area
Explore the Pembina Gorge on your ATV or dirt bike. The trail head is located 1 mile north, 1 mile west, and ¼ mile north of the beautiful Walhalla Country Club.
While designed for the use of OHVs it is also open to hikers, mountain bikers and horseback riders.
The trail is made possible through the North Dakota Park and Recreation Department’s partnerships with state agency and private landowners. An additional 12-mile loop is being planned as well as more traditional, non-motorized trail opportunities.
- Trail open to registered Class 1, 2, 3 OHVs (Side-by-sides cannot be over 60 inches in width)
- Riders under age 18 must wear a helmet
- Ages 11 and younger cannot ride
- Ages 12-15 must have a OHV safety certificate
- Non-motorized trail uses are permitted
- Follow trail signage
- Respect private lands adjacent to the trail
- Wear proper riding gear
