Fargo Brewing, Fargo, ND
Open since 2013 as the brainchild of four local beer lovers. Their inaugural brew was the Wood Chipper, an Indian pale ale that is still a local favorite. Other signature brews include the Stone’s Throw (a Scottish ale), the Iron Horse (a pale ale), and the Sodbuster (porter). In addition to Fargo Brewing’s taproom, their signature beers can be found all over the F-M metro area.
Drekker Brewing Company, Fargo, ND
Another brewery started by locals, Drekker Brewing Company has quickly made a name for itself in the Fargo beer scene. With Viking-inspired signature brews like The Ryesistance (rye saison), the Techno Viking (Berliner weisse), and Igor’s Horn (black IPA), Drekker is a local favorite.
Laughing Sun Brewery, Bismarck, ND
Established in the 2012 in the historic Laskin Building in downtown Bismarck, is a mixture of beer and community. Work of local artists adorn the walls and the stage is open to more than just music.
