They are the largest self-distributing micro-brewery in Connecticut and feature a beautiful tasting room and brewery tours. Beers include their original amber American Ale, delicious malty Black & Tan, thick Vanilla Coffee Stout, and excellent, strong caramel ale called Mutiny. They also are an affordable option for mid-sized private parties and functions.

Hanging Hills Brewing Company, Hartford, CT

Hanging Hills has a mystical background that surrounds the hills where the brewery's name was inspired. These hills and their story also inspired their black dog logo, as he is rumored to be seen or heard in those same hills. The master brewers have no problems creating delicious new beers and are always updating and perfecting their staples. Although their taproom is closed for now, you'll still find their beers on shelves in your local beer stores.

Brewery Legitimus, New Hartford, CT
