Sheridan Civic Theater Guild
History of the Theater
The Sheridan Civic Theater Guild was established in 1956 by a group of enthusiastic local thespians. For the first several decades, productions went up in various venues around Sheridan. In 1980, the architecture firm Malone Belton Able helped the CTG renovate Kendrick Mansion’s carriage house at the Trail End State Historic Site. In the forty years that have followed, community players have staged several productions in the Carriage House Theater each season.
