Rockpile Museum invites you to join us on a walk-through of Mount Pisgah cemetery to honor and remember Campbell County Veterans and their service. This cemetery walk will feature twelve unique stories that were not part of the Museum’s walk on Veterans Day last year.
Museum volunteer Greg Bennick will lead us on a one-mile walking tour through Mount Pisgah cemetery, stopping at the graves of twelve different Campbell County veterans. Those attending will hear stories about the bravery, valor, and sacrifice of these twelve men from Campbell County who served from the Civil War to the Vietnam War as well as details on their lives after the conflict ended. The walk will begin at the cemetery shelter parking lot at 2:30 p.m. Bring water and wear sturdy shoes. Participants are invited to stay after the tour to help volunteers to gather flags.
