Join the Festivities at Wyoming's Best Fall Festivals

wy fall festivals

When the air in the mountains and across the high plains takes on a bit of a chill and the deciduous trees start to show a little color, folks in the Cowboy State get ready to celebrate autumn and all that it has to offer. So, whatever your fall favorite is—beer, pumpkins, apples, corn mazes—you’re sure to find a celebration to fit your appetite. These are our favorite fall festivals in Wyoming.

Cheyenne Greek Festival, Cheyenne, WY

Not all fall festivals have to be about pumpkin pie and apple cider and fall colors. Some center around things like baklava and spanakopita—like the Cheyenne Greek Festival. This annual mid-September event has been an autumn staple in southeast Wyoming for more than three decades. Opa!

Rendezvous Royale, Cody, WY

Celebrate western arts in Cody at the annual five-day Rendezvous Royale. Seminars, gallery tours, exhibitions, a nationally-recognized art show and an auction are capped off with a ball. The festival is community wide and open to anyone who loves—or has an interest in—western art and craftsmanship.

Oktoberfest, Casper, WY

Oktoberfest in Casper is an awesome way to celebrate the region’s—Wyoming, Montana and Colorado—booming craft beer scene while helping to grant wishes for Wyoming children in need. In addition to beer supplied by several local businesses, there will be dancing, music and brats, all to benefit Make-A-Wish Wyoming.

Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, Jackson, WY

The Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival is an annual October event in Jackson Hole. The festival celebrates science and nature and the ways in which they interact with our everyday lives. The festival will include food vendors, hands-on science booths, a family science fair and activities such as stargazing, fossil digging, robotics and even forensics.
