UC Half Marathon and 5K
Event Schedule:
Half Marathon start - 8:30am
5K start - 8:45am
The Half Marathon will begin at 8:30am and the 5K will begin at 8:45am on race day on the UC Campus: 2300 MacCorkle Ave SE, Charleston, WV 25304. The UC Half Marathon and 5K are very flat courses. You will find yourself running along the Kanawha River as well as through beautiful neighborhoods. It is a very scenic run with plenty of fluid/nutrition stations and bathrooms throughout. Also, please be aware this is a two loop course, so those running the half marathon will be running two loops - the first loop is slightly longer than the second and you will be running on some of the same roads in each of the loops. The race ends on the UC campus right on the riverbank! We will have volunteers with signs directing you the entire way.
