About the event

The goal of our Annual Gandhi Day event is to promote Mahatma Gandhi’s message of peace, non-violence and unity. At the same time, it is an opportunity to serve the local community: Every year, the proceeds are donated to a local charity.

This year we are celebrating the 18th Gandhi Day event and all proceeds this year will be donated to Operation Welcome Home . An organization that provides support for Veterans from North Central WV.

Entry is $5. Kids under 12 are free. Tickets can be purchased using the PayPal link on the page. Additional donations are welcome.

Over the last 17 years, we have raised ~$50,000 towards charities in the greater Morgantown area. The proceeds from this event have been donated to several local charities including Rosenbaum House, American Red Cross, WVU Medicine Children's hospital, Milan Puskar Health Right Clinic, Eye foundation of America, Habitat for Humanity, Stepping stones, Shack neighborhood House, Scott settlement House, Morgantown Soup Kitchen and Ronald McDonald House.
