7:30 to 10 p.m. - Taylor Sams Band
Taylor Sams is an accomplished local country music artist from Washington, WV. Taylor grew up singing in church, which is the reason behind his soulful vocals. He began his career by winning the local “Texaco Country Showdown” in 2011. In 2012, he joined Sydney Hutchko to form the duo “Blue Ridge Honey.“ The duo joined Josh Thompson’s tour, played at Jamboree in the Hills, and opened for Florida Georgia Line at Heinz Field. The duo also was successful in landing a sponsorship with Southern Curves Vodka out of Savannah, GA. In 2014, Taylor picked back up a solo career and has since opened for many of country music greats Travis Tritt, Joe Diffie, Marty Stuart, and Ronnie Dunn to name a few. Today, Taylor enjoys being with his wife and two daughters, while singing around the state for the great people of West Virginia!
