A five-day mountaintop gathering of musicians and friends with contests, concerts, workshops, square dances, camping and vendors. Old time Appalachian music is presented to an audience of more than 3000 musicians and string band music lovers of all ages. The festival attracts visitors and participants from all around the world including all 50 states and more than 20 foreign countries.

9-10am: Daily Contest Registration (youth 17 and under) (open – all ages) - Information Tent
10:30am: Lineup announced to Traditional Band Registrants - Information Tent
11am: Youth Traditional Band Contest – Awards to follow contest - Outdoor Stage
11am: Craig Evans, Book Debut - Chestnut Lodge
Noon: Traditional Band Contest - Outdoor Stage
2pm: Flatfoot Dance Contest Registration (all age groups) - Information Tent
2:30pm: Lineup announced to Flatfoot Contest Registrants - Information Tent
3pm: Flatfoot Dance Contest- Awards to follow contest - Outdoor Stage

6pm: Traditional Band Finals and Awards - Outdoor Stage
