The City of Morgantown will be hosting its annual free 4th of July Celebration at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park on Thursday, July 4th. The Park will open to the public at 5 p.m. with the 4th of July Celebration beginning at the Ruby Amphitheater stage at 7 p.m.

Festivities will include a live performance, a variety of food truck vendors, free face painting and space for families to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

The fireworks show, supplied by Little Big Shots, will be held at approximately 10:00 p.m. immediately following the musical performance. Attendees should be prepared for an influx of traffic in the downtown area due to the evening’s events.

This year, The Jukebox Band, a popular cover band based out of Pennsylvania, will perform during the event. The band’s repertoire includes a mix of popular Rock-and-Roll, Hip Hop, Dance, Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Funk, R&B, and Hair Metal covers spanning the eighties to 2000’s. The group previously performed during the 2023 Ruby Summer Concert Series as the opener for Thunderstruck, the AC/DC cover band.

In addition to the musical performer, local talents Brittany Mann and Marisa Jagielo will be performing aerial acrobatics displays.
