Treyton's Field of Dreams
504 West Starin Road
Treyton Kilar, age 6, was killed in a senseless car crash by a drunk driver on September 2, 2010. Although his dreams were shattered by this tragedy, this field provides a safe place for children and families to celebrate life, to spend and enjoy time together, and a place where children are encouraged to dream big and learn that through hard work and vision, their dreams can become reality! Although Treyton is now playing on the “real” field of dreams in heaven, with your help we can help thousands of other children have a better future, and learn responsible life-long decision-making skills.
The proceeds from the 14th Annual Run for Trey will be used to maintain the field through its endowment and fund the multiple scholarships that are given in Treyton's name. Since the start of the run your generous support has allowed $50,000 in scholarships to be given to students in the Walworth and Jefferson County area schools. The benefit this field provides to the youth community teams, the visiting teams from around the region, and the students who benefit from Treyton’s Field of Dreams is truly amazing.
