One of the best ways to experience the great outdoors of Wisconsin is through one of its many beautiful parks. From parks that are home to historic cathedrals, to kid-friendly areas offering splash parks to cool off, Wisconsin’s parks can please a variety of guests. Here are 10 of the most beautiful in the state.   


Winnequah Park (Dream Park), Monona, WI

The Monona Youth Dream Park is the perfect park for the kiddos. Explore the castle-like features of turrets, walls and bridges, a moat, and a scary dragon. Let your mind be at easy because the park is surrounded by a wooden fence. Tire swings, bridges, fire poles, tunnels, and tree houses make for a perfect away to waste a couple hours.

Cathedral Park, Milwaukee, WI

A small green park filled with walking paths and large tress make escaping the craziness that the city of Milwaukee has to offer easy. Rest your eyes on the historic Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist located on the west side of the park. The park is host to many events throughout the year such as the cities official Christmas tree, a seasonal farmers market, and “Jazz in the Park.”

Hoyt Park, Madison, WI

Grandad Bluff Park, La Crosse, WI

Savannah Park, Deerfield, WI
