Laura Ingalls Wilder Days
Laura Ingalls Wilder Days started in Pepin in 1991. For the past 33 years this event has been organized by a group of volunteers and supported through donations and grants. The festival continues to evolve and change each year, while retaining its strong roots in celebrating the writings and life of Laura Ingalls Wilder. Originally formed as a committee under the Village of Pepin, the group recently loaded up the wagon and made the short trip to the Pepin Peppies Community Club.
The Pepin Peppies Community Club’s mission is to mobilize volunteers to participate in projects, events and outreach activities that encourages community camaraderie and connects people of all ages. Organized as a Wisconsin State nonstock corporation, the Pepin Peppies is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
