Celebrate the 4th of July at Mitchell Park

The City of Milwaukee’s Fourth of July festivities will once again take place - on Thursday, July 4, 2024.  Milwaukee has long celebrated the Fourth of July with community events throughout the city, a tradition dating back to 1911.  This year, Milwaukee will celebrate this great American holiday with parades, picnics, games, talent contests, fireworks and more.

10:00 a.m: Flag raising in front of Domes
Costume, Bike and Tricycle Decorating Contest
Doll Buggy, Stroller and Coaster, Wagon Decorating Contest
In the Parking Lot at 26th and Pierce St.

11:00 a.m: Games for Children and Adults
At the Band Stand in the Center of the Park

11:45 a.m: Pie Eating Contest

6:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m: DJ Music

9:15 p.m: City of Milwaukee Fireworks
