Celebrate the 4th of July at Alcott Park

The City of Milwaukee’s Fourth of July festivities will once again take place - on Thursday, July 4, 2024.  Milwaukee has long celebrated the Fourth of July with community events throughout the city, a tradition dating back to 1911.  This year, Milwaukee will celebrate this great American holiday with parades, picnics, games, talent contests, fireworks and more.

Schedule:

9:15 a.m: Parade Assembly – 3575 S. 88th St.
Bikes and more will be in the parade at 9:45am; come with them
decorated with this year’s theme visibly stated

9:45 a.m: Parade March to Alcott – 3751 S. 97th St.
10:30 a.m: Flag Ceremony, Cannon Salute, and Passing out Ice Cream
11:00 a.m: Kids Games
11:30 a.m: Bike Judging and Awards, Pull Raffle, Crafts for Kids
Free Hot Dogs to Follow for the First 300 People

12:30pm Teen and Adult Games
1:30pm Talent Contest
8:30pm 50/50 Raffle Drawing – Tickets Sold All Day
9:15pm City of Milwaukee Fireworks
