4th of July Celebration
The 2024 Citywide 4th of July Celebration will take place on Thursday, July 4, beginning with the traditional parade, and ending with fireworks at Lake Vista Park!
Shedule:
Parade: 9:00AM Join us for the annual 4th of July parade beginning at 9:00 a.m. near Edgewood Elementary School and ending at American Legion Post 434. After the parade, ice cream will be handed out, as the tradition goes!

Fire Works:The 4th of July Fireworks will take place at dusk on Thursday, July 4, at Lake Vista Park.

At the close of the fireworks:
Traffic coming out of the north portion of Lake Vista will be directed north on 5th Avenue only.
Traffic exiting the E. American Subdivision will be directed north on Chicago Road only.
Traffic exiting Lake Vista on the South will be directed south on 5th Avenue and then east on Hwy 100 or south on Chicago Road only.
Any traffic exiting new apartments on S. Breakwater Blvd will be directed south on 5th Avenue and then east on Hwy 100 or south on Chicago Road only.
