Salmon Ridge Sno-Park
Located in the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest approximately 13 miles east of Glacier on the Mt. Baker Highway, State Route 542, the Salmon Ridge Sno-Park is at 2,000-feet elevation with approximately 40 parking spaces. Set cross-country ski tracks and skate lanes are groomed weekly when snow levels are sufficient. Visitors on snowshoes are asked to stay outside of set ski tracks and dogs are discouraged. Routes start off with views of the North Fork Nooksack River before leading into a forested setting of tall Douglas Fir, hemlock and cedar trees. The lot and groomed trails are maintained by the Nooksack Nordic Ski Club, Washington State Parks and the Forest Service. Visitors not on skis are asked to stay off groomed snow routes. A Washington State Sno-Park pass is required for parking at the Salmon Ridge Sno-Park.
