This month is the last chance for guests to experience Rusty Relics, a unique selection of artifact pieces and parts in their original, unimproved condition. Each month’s exhibition offers something new to see, with new highlights of rare and unique artifacts in their original condition on display. From October to November, the exhibit will honor the contributions of Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum’s (FHCAM) dedicated volunteers who assist with lectures, tours and guest experiences.
FHCAM could not carry out its work without the faithful volunteers. The latest Rusty Relics includes items hand-picked by some of those volunteers. Artifacts include B-17, Bf 109 and F-86 components, as well as an early British jet engine, a WWII German bomb hoist and German engine parts. These artifacts were specially selected because of their rarity and unique history. The exhibit is included in the price of general admission.
