The event will feature a diverse array of rhythmic compositions, including Carnatic and cross-genre pieces, with performances by various artists and the Disha Band. STAR|Seattle Tamil Arts of Rhythm will showcase traditional Tamil percussion, and an interactive workshop will explore mridangam accompaniment styles in Carnatic music. Bharatnatyam performances will include Shuddha Nrittam and Mallari pieces, accompanied by mridangam students from the Indian Percussive Arts Center. There will also be a collaborative Hindustani/Carnatic performance by Poetry on Drums with students from the Indian Percussive Arts Center.
Students of the Temple of Music will perform original compositions accompanied by mridangam and kanjira students. Innovative new-age ideas will be showcased by students trained by Patri Satish Kumar, who will also be featured in the grand finale performance, accompanied by violin
