Independence Day Celebration - Whidbey Wags Pet Parade
Your pets will be the center of attention at the Oak Harbor Chamber's Whidbey Wags Pet Parade. Pets and their humans are encouraged to dress up and show off their Independence Day spirit.
REGISTRATION TIME | 9:30 AM
Registered pets and owners will check in at Flintstone Park to receive their parade number, special entry gift, a goodie bag, and pose for pictures.
If you have not pre-registered, this is your time as well. Come on down.
WHIDBEY WAGS PET PARADE | 10:30 AM
The parade starts at Flintstone Park, up Dock St to Pioneer Way. Proceed east on Pioneer, then back west, down Dock St to find yourself back at Flintstone Park for the Pet Fair!
Cost = a can or bag of dog/cat food which we will be donating to WAIF and the local 4-H Club or $20.
FUN AND GAMES DON'T END WITH THE PARADE...
Participants are welcome to attend the pet fair after the parade which will include pools, giveaways, games, photo ops, and more for humans and pets. Bonus: our friendly Oak Harbor Police Department Animals Control officer will be onsite if you have any questions.
DRESS TO IMPRESS
Show off your patriotic spirit. All pet owners are invited to dress up their furry friends in themed costumes, flair, and decorations and participate in the parade. The most creative and original entries will even win trophies!
