Following the theater show, join FUNKWAYS in the Sunset Bar & Lounge for a laid-back deep funk dance party and jam session.
Theater show only: $25
Theater show + after party: $30 (see $5 add-on at checkout)
After party only: $18 (click here for after party only tickets)
The Sunset Bar & Lounge opens pre-show at 5PM and will remain open serving food and drinks through both performances; last call at 10PM. No ticket is required to join us in the Sunset Lounge pre-show from 5PM - 7PM.
Recording artist Joel Ricci (aka Lucky Brown) conducts an ensemble of Seattle rhythm and funk musicians in a dynamic and engaging live public ceremony/spectacle. Via his deep catalogue of over thirty self-produced and naive but sophisticated vinyl singles released in Europe and the USA over the past decade, he has been hailed by music mavens worldwide as a deep funk pioneer.
In the words of the artist: “Funkways’ mission is to commemorate, celebrate, and consecrate True Soul music as played from the heart, and to engender cultural health by promoting greater neighborhood social cohesion through the ancient practice of collective dance and community voice-raising.
