Kennewick Washington Photographer John Clement will be the exhibiting artist the month of October, join Artisans at the Dahmen Barn with a meet the artist opening reception.
John Clement began his career in photography in the early 1970’s as a portrait photographer and in the mid 70’s changed to commercial industrial photography. During this time, he was building his landscape photography portfolio. He has received over 70 national, international, and regional awards for both his commercial work and landscape photography over the years.
John has supplied images to the Schweitzer Engineering calendar, the annual McGregor calendar, and several other books on the region. He has worked with Historian Richard Schuerman doing historical/pictorial books on the region; Palouse Country A Land and its people, Palouse Country; an oral history, Finding Chief Kamiakin, harvest Heritage, and the most recent Celebrating Palouse country 30th Anniversary Edition. John has his own coffee table book Northwest Drylands Seasons.
John has provided 17 murals for the Seattle Seahawks stadium. His photos hand in airports, hospitals, financial institutions, and private homes around the world. John has nine prints in the Professional Photographers of America permanent loan collection. One print, "Red Dawn", was named one of the top photographs in the United States and was hung in the permanent collection of the International Hall of Fame of Photography.
