Blackman House Museum
This cozy family home was built by lumberman and politician Hyrcanus and his wife Ella Blackman in 1878, and where they raised their two children, Clifford and Eunice. Clifford and his father passed away within months of each other in 1920-21, and Eunice lived in this house with her husband Dr. William Ford until his death in 1951. Eunice remained here as a widow until the early sixties when she moved to Sacremento to live under the care of her daugher's family. The Snohomish Historical Society purchased the home from the Eunice in 1970, four years before her death.
