Benton City 4th of July Community Celebration
Schedule of Events:
8PM - 12PM CITY PARK - BREAKFAST IN THE PARK
Breakfast and beverages will be available at the community center until noon or sold out. Breakfast provided by Benton City Little League
9PM - CITY PARK - FLAG RAISING CEREMONY
Flag Raising Ceremony: Benton County Fire Protection District #2
National Anthem Singer: Rachel LaBelle
11AM - 9th STREET - KIDS PARADE
Meet before 10:30 to get registered at the United Methodist Church parking lot at the corner of Horne and 9th. We will leave at 11am down 9th Street to Dale Ave.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PARADE - CITY PARK MAIN STAGE:
Kids will be directed to City Park for ice cream and trophies at the main stage! (YOU MUST REGISTER AND HAVE A WRIST BAND TO PARTICIPATE IN ICE CREAM & TROPHIES, BE SURE TO SIGN UP BEFORE THE PARADE)!
4PM - Kicking for Community - Kickball Tournament
Registration is available on our website or at the event. Registration for the kickball tournament is $7 per person ages 11 & up. We will have kids a kickball game for ages 5-10 for $5 per person. Funds raised from this event will be donated to the Lion’s Club and the Benton City Food Bank.
4PM-6PM Food Trucks & Concessions
V5 Market: Tacos & Fruit Cups
Sweet Snack Attack: Snow Cones & Mini Doughnuts
Lion’s Club Concessions: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Sausage Dogs, Chips & More
Fireworks start at dusk - Bring your own chairs or blankets to enjoy the fireworks provided by the Benton City Lion’s Club, City of Benton City, and the Griggs family.
