Church Street Marketplace, Burlington, VT
Built in 1980, the Church Street Marketplace is an amalgamation of around 86 retailers managed by the Church Street Marketplace Commission. The “mall” is actually a bi-level grouping of street-side shops and subterranean stores, all accessible by open-air, cobblestone walkways. Featuring many dining options, street performances, and holiday festivities, the top side of the marketplace always has something going on.
University Mall, South Burlington, VT
Often referred to as the U-Mall, the University Mall is a completely enclosed 610,693-square-foot shopping mall that is the largest of its kind in Vermont. Opened in 1979, there are currently 75 stores and services, including Applebee’s, AT&T, Bath and Body Works, Champs, Christopher and Banks, GameStop, GNC, Hannaford, IHOP, Target, Victoria’s Secret, and more.
Essex Shoppes and Cinema, Essex, VT
In proximity to the Essex Resort, Essex Shoppes offers dining, shopping, and entertainment options all in one convenient location. Speaking of shopping, you’ll find clothes, kitchen products, whole foods groceries, hardware, and more. Plus, the strip mall amalgamation of outlets and other stores includes also includes a cinema that plays all of the latest movies.
Manchester Designer Outlets, Manchester Center, VT
MDO is a collection of town-wide shops starting from the corner of Main Street and Depot Street and running the entire length of Depot Street and out of town. With over 40 designer outlets, food options, and all of the quaint sights and sounds of a small New England town, MDO stores include two small malls and road-side shops connected by roads and village footpaths.
