Newfane Heritage Festival
Newfane Common
579-589 VT-30
Every October for the last 53 years, locals and visitors alike have enjoyed the Newfane Heritage Festival, which showcases a juried selection of artists and craftspeople, as well as delicious food, a Super Raffle, and live entertainment. Colorful fall foliage on the village streets and surrounding hillsides and the smell of homemade apple pie and crisp greet the several thousand visitors who attend this signature southeastern Vermont event. Newfane Heritage Festival is entirely volunteer run and is deeply rooted in the Newfane Congregational Church and the local community. We hope you’ll come explore this beautiful part of New England during the peak of fall foliage season. Please browse this website for more information on all aspects of the festival.
No Dogs, Please! Dogs have become an increasing problem at the Festival. For the comfort and safety of your fellow visitors, please do not bring your dog.
Arts and Crafts:
A juried selection of Arts, Crafts, and Specialty Goods are sold by the over 65 vendors on the Commons. There is something for everyone.
Food and Pie
Visit the Outdoor Food Tent and enjoy delicious breakfast, lunch, and snack offerings and apple pie by the slice… or take home a whole pie.
Community
Heritage Festival helps raise almost a third of the church’s annual budget and with the generosity of our community we are able to help others in a variety of ways.
