FIRST SHOTS - Women's Intro to Handguns Small Group Class Duration: 2 hours Beginners Class for all new Handgun Shooters, and those who may be somewhat familiar with handguns, but have not received formal training. Handguns & Ammo Provided. Classes are taught by Female NRA Certified Pistol Instructor. This is not an NRA - approved course. Bring your questions, your curiosity and the knowledge you have, no previous experience with firearms required. The goal is to learn how to safely handle firearms, correct grip, stance, and fundamentals of marksmanship.Classroom and live fire instruction with the goal of confidence and comfort in handling a handgun or revolver. This class is the foundation and teaches the beginning shooter the skills necessary to own and operate a handgun safely. Topics covered include: Safe operation and handling of a handgun Loading and unloading Ammunition knowledge, selection and function Fundamentals of shooting Introduction to care and cleaning.
