Autumn on the Green, Danville, VT

Always on the first Sunday in October, Autumn on the Green is an award-winning celebration takes place on the Danville Green, with orange and red painted hills in the background. With all of the feel of an old-time fair exhibition, visitors meander through the streets and take in demonstrations by the American Society of Dowsers, blacksmiths, chair makers, and wood turners, and more. Don't miss the delicious food like gourmet wraps, BBQ pulled pork, soups and stews, and more.

Mt. Snow Oktoberfest, Dover, VT

So you know we had to have an Oktoberfest in here. After all, nothing singles the end of a hard growing season better than sipping a cold one. And like most German-themed celebrations, this event will offer copious amounts of beer, schnitzel, and Oom-pah music. But the event is not just for the adults. With kids games, pumpkin painting, and the famous “schnitzel toss,” this event is for everyone. 

Burke Fall Foliage Festival, East Burke, VT

By far Burke's biggest festival of the year, the Fall Foliage Festival features a parade in the morning, burgers, hot dogs, sausages and more, kids area with bouncy houses, face painting, arts & crafts, horse drawn wagon rides, pony rides, an animal petting zoo, and cow flop bingo. In addition, there will be live music and performances throughout the day.
