Join Us for a Special Veterans Week Lunch Event on November 13th!
We're excited to invite you to our upcoming Veterans Week Lunch event on November 13th, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at Virginia Housing. This year we have a fantastic guest speaker lined up: Steve Parks. A veteran and community advocate, Steve brings a wealth of experience and inspiration from his service in the U.S. Army and his commitment to helping others. You won’t want to miss the inspiring stories and insights he’ll share.

Registration Fees:

$5 for members / $35 for non-members

About our Guest Speaker: Steve Parks was born and raised in Richmond, VA. After graduating from high school, he served in the U.S. Army from 2001 to 2014. During his 13 years of service, he had the honor and privilege of playing basketball for the U.S. Army around the world, including the U.S., Europe, South Korea, and two tours in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom, where he sustained an injury that ended his military career.

Following his transition from the military, Steve began working as a travel agent, helping people plan their dream weddings and vacations. He returned to Richmond in 2016.

An avid lover of outdoor activities and sports, Steve is also dedicated to serving his community. Firmly rooted in his faith, he is an active member of Heights Church. As a Realtor, he continues to do what he loves most—serving others. Steve looks forward to partnering with each of his clients to help them find their dream properties and forever homes.
