The Rocktown Beer and Music Festival
Harrisonburg Downtown Renaissance presents Rocktown Beer & Music Festival. Every year, 3,000 people converge on Turner Pavilion & Park to attend the event (which often sells out in advance), celebrating good beer, good living, good music and a great community. Whether rain or shine, it's always a mighty fine time. Rocktown Fest is a Spring event occurring each April. Click Volunteer to learn how you can be part of our team and check out our current brewery and music lineup on the tabs above. Please check our homepage to find out when tickets sales to the next Rocktown will begin. We can't wait to see your #rocktownselfie at the next Rocktown Fest! We will be reviewing CDC guidelines up to and during the festival.
The Beer!
Every year we celebrate the quality and diversity of America's craft beer culture. Each brewery is handpicked and will be represented at the festival by a member of that brewery. The breweries bring their flagship brew as well as a seasonal or rare beer, and with 60+ beers to sample even savvy beer fans will find something new to get excited about. Hard ciders are also included for sampling. View Breweries
The Music!
There's a wide world of music out there and each year our stage showcases some of the best performances from local and nationally touring bands. Over the years we're proud to have featured The War On Drugs, Nikki Lane, The Steel Wheels, Bronze Radio Return, Chatham County Line, Yarn, The Hackensaw Boys, No BS! Brass Band, Snarky Puppy, Love Canon and more. You better bring your dancing shoes! View Artists
The Place!
The Turner Pavilion (Farmer's Market Pavilion) is the heart of the festival and houses all the beer vendors. The field next to provides a grassy area to relax and listen to music, sit down and get a bite to eat from a local food vendor, or take a quiet moment to wonder how you made it so far in life without you brand new favorite brew. The downtown location and proximity to the local restaurants and shops means that the festival can be a part of a larger day spent downtown, offering guests yet another reason to make it a full day of entertainment to look forward to and enjoy.
