Spooky

Imperial Ale brewed with real pumpkin puree and cocoa nibs and aged in bourbon barrels. Has there ever been a better feeling than when you were a kid spiriting around the neighborhood in a white sheet with a bucket of candy bars? No, not really. But we figured if we loaded up an Imperial Pumpkin Ale with natural chocolate flavor from cocoa nibs and stuck it in a bourbon barrel for a few months it might come pretty close. 8.5% ABV
We will also be featuring the release of two new exciting variants:

Salted Caramel

For our first Variant of Spooky this year, we’re plumbing the depths of Fall decadence with an exploration into deep and rich caramel flavors highlighted with delicious light saltiness. We’ve chosen the best of the best for barrels, and once again aged our Spooky and Variants in bourbon barrels from Willett Distillery, which, serendipitously, is located in Nelson County, Kentucky and named after Virginia Governor Thomas Nelson, as is our own Nelson County, Virginia. Enjoy these secret and spooky Fall flavors and savor the season. 8.5% ABV
 
Punkelweizen

For our second Variant of Spooky this year, we’re giving the finger to the norms of Spooky guidelines and a system that can’t hold us down. We’re not part of your machine, man! Brewed with a rebellious amount of wheat and fermented with German wheat beer yeast, what we have here is some sort of cocoa-nib-tinged imperial pumpkin bourbon barrel aged dunkelweizen that won’t be pigeonholed by category, and it is fantastic. 8.5% ABV

Bottle Purchase Rules:

Each patron is limited to purchasing up to 12 individual bottles of EACH VARIANT. There is no purchase limit on regular Spooky.
When at least (1) 750ml bottle or (1) 4-pack of 2024 Spooky is purchased, you may then qualify to purchase up to a case of each variant.
