Memorial Day Weekend Salute To Summer

Kick off your summer of fun with the Memorial Day Weekend Salute to Summer! These concerts complement the perfect weekend of sun, swimming, and surfing in Virginia Beach.

Salute those who gave the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom by experiencing the Heroes Walk banners located along the boardwalk beginning at 16th Street and going north. These essays were composed by local Virginia Beach history students and tell the stories of various wars and conflicts the United States has been involved in over the years. Open to the public.
