Lovingston Fireworks

The Lovingston Volunteer Fire Department Co. 1 and the Nelson County Board of Supervisors are thrilled to announce the fireworks are returning for 2024. This year we are hosting them at the Stars and Spurs event area. The fireworks are still being run by the fire department along with our fireworks technicians. The venue change offers an opportunity to bring you a wonderful evening filled with fireworks, food, and unforgettable family moments. It allows the fire department and sheriff’s office to be in one area and doesn’t require our volunteer forces to be spread out in the event of an emergency. We will post traffic plans and designated parking maps soon.

Ticket purchase to the event Stars & Spurs is NOT required to enjoy the fireworks show. Free community parking in a designated area will be available at Oak Ridge.
