Watch wheat-treading in Washington’s innovative 16-sided barn at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 2:30 p.m.

See how soap was made using 18th-century techniques and help with the process.

View demonstrations of 18th-century cooking, textiles, flax and hemp processing and more.

Visit the Farrier to learn how horseshoeing was performed in the 18th century.

Discover how surveying was done with the Corps of Engineers surveying team.

Play colonial games that were enjoyed in the 18th century.

Purchase freshly-baked bread from Half Crown Bakehouse, with a reproduction 18th-century clay oven.

Story Time: Farmer George Plants a Nation at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Learn about the innovative farming methods used during Washington’s time. Best-suited for ages 7-12.
